Description:
This course is designed for students in grades 3 to 6 who have studied our "1200-Python for Kids" and "1210-Python Projects for Kids" or at the similar primary level of Python and are willing to learn programming further, especially those who are preparing for the programming competition.
This course focuses on cultivating children's creativity and logical thinking. We use the 4P creative learning method advocated by MIT professor Dr. Mitchel Resnick: Projects, Passion, Peers, and Play. This course will lead students to complete nine interesting and challenging programming projects and require independent completion of the last defense project to train children's programming thinking and improve their problem-solving skills.
By focusing on the project, many different knowledge points can be practiced therein. More importantly, identifying and accomplishing projects can help children establish a thinking strategy for refining problems, solving problems, and communicating ideas. This strategy, which nobody can emphasize enough, is essential not only for learning but also for all aspects of life and work in the future.
Through our progressive courses, students can achieve his/her potential with good grades step by step. Python is adopted as a programming language for all projects. This language is powerful, widely used, and rarely-among-others friendly for beginners. It is not only suitable for programming learning but also has enough improvement room when mastering, for convenient application in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, which play an increasingly important role in the future development of human society.
