Description

Note: This class will take place online via the video conference platform ZOOM - US Central Time (CST/CDT).

 

Description: In this course, students learn the fundamental concepts of programming - concepts that can be applied in the study of any programming language. Students also dive into specific features of the Python programming language. Below is a summary of the material covered in each module:

Lesson 1: Getting Started Lesson 2: Simple Data Types
Lesson 3: Introducing Lists Lesson 4: Working with Lists
Lesson 5: If Statements Lesson 6: Dictionary
Lesson 7: Functions Lesson 8: Classes
Lesson 9: Files & Exceptions Lesson 10: Final Exam

 

This course is inspired by the course CS41 taught at Stanford University.

Prerequisites: Grade 6+. No experience is required.
